<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">KARNAL: Karnal Bal Bhawan would be permanently used as a gallery to display paintings of renowned Indian artists to encourage love for art and paintings amongst the younger generation, said Deputy Commissioner R S Doon. <br /><br />Doon was presiding over concluding day function of the two-day art and painting exhibition of artists from all over the country.

<br /><br />About 41 paintings of 12 artists from northern states were on display, which was organised by the Department of Public Relations and Cultural Affairs of Haryana. <br /><br />Paintings by eminent artists like Randhir Singh Pathanis from Department of Arts and Culture of Kurukshetra University remained the cynosure of all eyes as these depicted the tragic lot and different phases of life of Sadhus living on the Historic Braham Sarovar of Mahabharata age at Kurukshetra. <br /><br />Artist Ram Viranjan of Varanasi has depicted human feelings in his ''Khandar'' and ''Village Scape'' paintings. <br /><br />Paintings of Delhi-based artists Harish Sirivastav and Ramsabad Singh of Sharanpur, Harman Singh Rathore of Sundernagar (HP), Bhoop Singh Gulia of Rohtak, Jaspal Singh from Punjab, Dr Ved Prakash from Haryana and Y S Eloni from Kurukshetra University were on display.<br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
